KC Hearts on Fire in NYC
Prisca Kendagor, one of the young adults here at Metro, in early 2008 went to New York city to do street evangelism with Campus Crusade for Christ.

Easter Egg Hunt 2008
Each year our church family gets together the day before Easter and celebrates the joys
of family life with an egg hunt. The hunt includes children of all ages and includes activities such as face painting and free hot dogs.

Taichung, Taiwan
In February 2008 Pastor Randy Catlett traveled to Taichung to encourage and work with Metro Missionaries Lyn Strietzel and Kristin Fulmer. These pictures are from one night when they ministered to 12 orphan boy's ages 9 to 12.

South Africa with AIM
In November 2007 Jim Bailey, Nathan Haas and Greg Beel traveled to South Africa to train 50+ young men and women who would be spending the next six months serving the Lord in different nations in Africa with Adventures in Missions. These pictures give a sense of their trip and the beauty of South Africa.

2007 Volunteer Awards
Each year our leadership team goes all-out to recognize and honor the members of our church who serve the Lord by volunteering in various ways. We call this night "The M-ies". This years' awards night started off with an Elderly.. errr.. I mean.. Elder Rap.. just wish I could give you the vocals :)

Baptism Fall 2007
In October 2007 our church baptized over 40 folks.. young and old alike were baptized by friends and family members. These pictures are representative of that joyous Sunday morning.

Men in the Mountains
In September 2007 ten men from our church family traveled to the California Pacific Coast to hike, pray, camp and and share their hearts around the  campfire. These pictures are representative of the scenery and joy that was a part of this trip.

Ukraine Missions Trip
June 2007 saw another team from Metro partner with Little Lambs based in Ukraine. The team of six found themselves in a city orphanage on the eastern side of the country where they would spend the entire month. The unpronounceable town of Dniprodzejinsk was an eight hour bus ride from the capital city of Kiev. These pictures give you a sense of the countryside and mission of those serving overseas.

Ivory Coast Mission Trip
In June 2007 Missions Pastor Randy Catlett traveled to Ivory Coast Africa to encourage and work with two of our missionaries. These pictures give you a sense of the countryside and mission of those serving at Cote’ dIvoire.

Quest 2007:The Lost Coast
In June 2007 high school students and mentors from our church family traveled to the California Pacific Coast for two weeks of adventure, discipleship and spiritual growth. These pictures are representative of the scenery and joy that was a part of this two week trip.

T-Bones Game 2007

On Saturday, May 19, our church went out to the old ball game - a KC T-Bones game that is. We all had a great time of fun and fellowship - and the team won!

Mother Daughter Dinner 2007
On Saturday, May 12, the moms and daughters of our church gathered to share a meal and fellowship. The guys prepared the food and served the gals

India & Nepal Trip
In March 2007 5 people from our church family traveled to the countries of India and Nepal to encourage and work with our Missionaries overseas. These pictures give you a sense of the countryside and mission of those serving overseas.

Phoenix, LA Trip
In March 2007 70+ people from our church family traveled 18 hours by bus to help rebuild the small community of Phoenix that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in September 2005. Families of all shapes and sizes made the trip. Rebuilding activities involved everything ... pouring concrete, framing houses and washing dirty dishes.
